The Nanooks are currently taking the lead in the Alaska Airlines Governor’s Cup. The last home game is this weekend, February 8^th, 2025, when the winner of the Governor’s Cup will be announced.

The Nanooks hockey team faced off against Simon Fraser University on January 11 after beating them 2-1 the day prior. The Nanooks started the first period off strong with Luke Johnson delivering two goals, putting the Nanooks in the lead with 2-0.

On January 26th, 2024, the Nanooks Hockey team played against the Long Island University Sharks.

Harrison Israels, the team captain, achieved his first NCAA hat-trick, meaning he scored three goals in the same game. In the first period, #14 Anton Rubtsov passed the puck to Harry, giving him his first goal and leading to many more successful passes to help Harrison achieve the hat-trick.
