UAF Volleyball Achieves Fifth Win in a Row

Rilee White assisted the Nanooks volleyball team with their fifth consecutive win against Seattle Pacific University.

On Friday, November 2, the Alaska Nanooks women’s volleyball team won against the Seattle Pacific University Falcons. This was the Nanook’s fifth win in a row. During the first set, the Nanooks served three kills and three aces. The Nanooks won 25 to 23 in the first set. During the second set, the Nanooks served four kills; however, they fell short, resulting in a 23 to 25 loss. The third set ended at 25 to 21, with the Nanooks winning. The fourth set ended in the Falcons winning 19 to 25, forcing a fifth set to break the tie. The Nanooks won their fifth set against the Falcons with a score of 15-11. UAF’s McKenna Smith got a team high of 30 assists during the match.
